- With the phase out of chlorofluorocarbons ammonia pipe marking has become a safer, more efficient way to label ammonia pipes
- The International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) requires markers meet specific guidelines
- Markers made of non-vinyl chloride polyester can withstand temperatures up to 240° and used on any type of piping, including stainless steel or nickel pipes
- Resistant to fading, moisture, dirt, abrasion, acid, and corrosion
- Markers come in 2 sizes:
- 8"W x 9"H with a 3/4" letter height, that fits an outside pipe diameter of 1-1/2" to 2-3/8"
- 12"W x 26-1/2"H with a 1-1/4" letter height, that fits an outside pipe diameter of 2-1/2" to 7-7/8"
