Choose from:
• 29 CFR (OSHA)
• 40 CFR (EPA)
• 49 CFR (DOT)

Click on any of the links on the page to navigate to the specific regulation you need.

For OSHA 29 CFR regulations, you'll find a handy link to "Related Products" next to the regulations. Click on any of these links to view the full list of Seton products related to this specific standard. You can then link directly into our online catalog to purchase or to learn more about any of these products.

To view the full text of the regulation, just click on the standard reference number (for example 1910.37).You'll notice that whenever there's a Seton product related to the regulation, we've added a product image in the left margin. To order or learn more about this product, just click on the image!

Federal Register
The Federal Register is the official daily publication for Rules, Proposed Rules, and Notices of Federal agencies and organizations, as well as Executive Orders and other Presidential Documents. You should review each day's Federal register to stay on top of key rulings and potential regulatory changes. Just click on the day of the week in the handy Calendar or retrieve past month's issues by browsing the archive in the pull down box.

There are also some very handy tools such as "FR Search" for conducting a Federal Register search based on keyword; "CFR Parts Affected This Month" for quickly accessing current regulatory changes that may affect your industry; and "Today's Regulatory Reminders" for staying on top of rules that may be going into effect.

OSHA State Plans
Need access to your state approved Occupational Safety and Health plan and key contact information? Just click your state, and you'll link right into your state's official website to get the information you need!

MSDS Online Library
Do you need an MSDS for a specific hazardous chemical? Get instant access to an online database of over 350,000 MSDSs to access the MSDS you need in a flash! Just type in the keyword in the search box and click the Search button.

Some guidelines apply when performing a full-text search:
Searches are case-insensitive; you can type your search in either uppercase or lowercase characters.
Punctuation marks, such as the period (.), colon (:), semicolon (;), comma (,). and hyphen (-), are ignored.
Group the elements of your search using double quotation marks or parentheses. If you are searching for a CFR section, group the entire string in double quotation marks, for example, "1910.1200". Otherwise the search will treat the period as an AND.
The AND, OR, NOT and NEAR operators allow you to refine your search. If no operator is specified, AND is used. For example, the query "prestone antifreeze" is equivalent to "prestone and antifreeze."

Search for Example Result
Both terms in the same topic refined AND oil Topics containing both the words refined and oil
Either term in a topic solvent OR cleaner Topics containing either the word solvent or the word cleaner
First term without the second term exxon NOT hmis Topics containing the word Exxon, but not the word hmis
Both terms in the same topic, close together petroleum NEAR distillate Topics containing the word petroleum within eight words of the word distillate

Having a hard time finding the time to develop effective safety training? Here's where you'll find ready-to-use training resources such as interactive Crossword Puzzles and Training Presentations that have the same "look & feel" as a PowerPoint presentation to help you run an effective training meeting!

The handy Checklists will guide you step-by-step through a safety audit to help you uncover potential hazards in your workplace. Just click on a topic and a checklist will open up in a PDF format. Note: you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open a PDF document. To download Adobe software go to: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html The Checklists are interactive PDF documents, which means you can click on the check off boxes whenever you're in compliance and then print them out for a hard copy document. To print a checklist, just "right click" with your mouse and then hit "Print". The Prewritten Safety Programs provide valuable guidance in complying with OSHA Requirements for establishing safety programs.
