Quick Overview

Product Details

  • What size do you need? - Reflective signs are best for outdoor applications in parking lots, parking garages, trails or roadways. Where space is limited the use of a 12 x 12 inch sign may be the only option. But where space is not a problem, we would always recommend at least 24 x 24 inches as it provides the necessary visual stimulus to effectively manage traffic. For municipal roadways/highways, at least 30 x 30 inches is required to meet MUTCD requirements.
  • Available in a variety of materials - View our Material Guide below - For your reflective sign, aluminum is the most popular choice. Its durability and rust-proof property makes it ideal for a wide variety of applications. Steel is the most durable, as it won’t bend. Plastic is ideal for your parking lot and all indoor applications.
  • Choosing the right reflectivity - View our Reflectivity Guide below - Engineering grade reflectivity is the basic reflectivity level. It is viewable from 500 feet away in nighttime conditions. High intensity reflectivity can be viewed from 1000 feet away and is the level of reflectivity needed for MUTCD compliance. For the best reflectivity, choose Diamond Grade, viewable from 1500 feet away.
  • Lifetime Guarantee available with optional Seton UltaTuff Overlaminate Topcoat. It’s the best defense against fading, graffiti, and chemicals - Learn more about our overlamintate option below
  • When mounting the sign be sure the top of the sign is mounted flush with the top of the post and allow a 1" gap between any supplemental signs. Supplemental signs should be no less than 4ft from the road surface. Be sure the sign is no less than 6ft to from the edge of the pavement. The bottom of the sign post should be no more than 7ft from the road surface in urban areas and 5ft in rural areas.
